FLEX is a cost effective solution for accurate barbell tracking and is not designed to work with non-barbell based exercises. You can use FLEX on exercises where the equipment or machine has a barbell shaped end (like a leg press). You just need to enable the setting 'disable bar mode' when your device is connected.
If you want the ultimate weight room toolkit, we also offer GymAware, the gold standard device for velocity based training, which has an extensive range of exercises including chin-ups, countermovement jumps and Nordics just to name a few. The system can also be hooked up to a pin-loaded weight stack.
