- Last Repetition Targets
- Percentage (%) Targets
TARGET |
EXPLANATION |
PRACTICAL APPLICATION |
|
Squad (green) |
- By selecting squad you will be setting a target for all athletes for a particular exercise
- As you set the target on one iPad, this will change the squad target for all athletes within that squad on all iPads connected
|
- Utilise the squad target if you are working with a large amount of athletes at one time
- This will ensure that all athletes are working at the same velocities despite strength levels
|
|
Athlete (blue) |
- By selecting athlete you will be setting a target for only the selected athlete
- As the athletes change the target will change
- This target is unique to only the selected athlete
|
- Utilise this target if you are working with a smaller number of athlete(s) at one time
- Great target to use with injured/ rehab athletes that are not completing the same program as the rest of the squad
|
|
Personal Best (yellow) |
- The 'PB' target cannot be changed by the coach
- This target is based on the best rep that one athlete has completed at a certain weight
|
- Utilise the 'PB' target along with a range (e.g. 90%) to see if an athlete is able to work close to their best.
- Alternately if an athlete exceeds their PB then a new record will be automatically recorded
|
|
Last Rep (orange) |
- The 'Last Rep' cannot be changed by the coach
- This target is automatically calculated based on the last time the weight was lifted
- This target will be blank if no attempts have been made at the selected weight
|
- Utilise the 'Last Rep' target to monitor fatigue during a session
- The coach is able to see how much the athlete has fatigued if they are unable to achieve the same output as the previous attempt
|
|
Zones (%) |
- This will select a % range for the set
- If no target is set, the % will be of the best rep of the set
- If a target is set then it will be a % of this value creating a range
|
- Utilise the % target to provide athletes with a range
- Monitor fatigue during a set
- Limit a small % drop for strength/power
- Set a large % drop for hypertrophy training
