How Does it Work?

GymAware is a Linear Positional Transducer (LPT). A LPT converts an object's linear motion (e.g. a barbell) into electrical signals. GymAware's LPT measures displacement over time which is a direct measure of velocity, it also has the added feature of measuring angel of lift which makes it the most accurate and reliable system in the world. 

Using its strap and tether tied to an athlete or barbell, the PowerTool collects data whilst an exercise is being performed.

Utilising the data it has collected, coaches and athletes can accurately measure athletic performance, monitor power, and implement effective Velocity Based Training.
