If no 1RM is known, the test will prescribe loads based on gender and age.
How to start:
- Select the TEST 1RMp from the main menu
- If no 1RMs have been entered in the athletes profile, this section will read "0" (If there have been previous 1RMs either entered or predicted then these will be displayed)
- Select the exercise that you wish to test
- Once you select the exercise, FLEX calculates the prescribed loads. Follow the prompts to continue with the protocol.
- Once the test is complete, FLEX will give you the option to save this as your new 1RM.
The key to a successful prediction is to aim to move the bar as fast as possible whilst maintaining proper form.
After any set, you have the option to re-do the set if you feel that it wasn't your best effort.
