There are occasions where you may find your PowerTool is not behaving as it should. It may not be responding or disconnect from the App. Listed below are some key trouble shooting steps you can implement to try to resolve the issue:
1. Make sure BlueTooth is on
Yes, a rookie mistake, but it happens especially after traveling or when iPads are left out in the weights room.
2. Perform a Full Reset of the PowerTool
Nothing like a good re-boot to wake everything up. You will need a paper clip or the special tool from the GymAware First Aid kit.
3. Leave the PowerTool on charge overnight
Plug it in - a good 10hr charge can make the difference.
4. Forget and re-pair the PowerTool with your iPad
With a lot of BlueTooth connections in the air, sometimes your PowerTool will connect to another iPad in range, or just get scrambled.
5. Bad State

LED symptoms and solutions -
If no LEDs are on, then the PowerTool is asleep – wake it up by pulling tether and try again. If this fails, your battery may be flat. Recharge battery.
If the yellow LED is on continuously – the PowerTool may be connected to another iOS device. Perform a Hard Reset
If the green LED is flashing but it still won’t connect – there may be a problem with the Bluetooth pairing. “Forget” this PowerTool and re-pair.
If yellow LED is not on – The PowerTool is not connected. Try to reconnect.
If the yellow LED is on continuously – the PowerTool may be connected to another iOS device. Reset PowerTool with magnet.
If the yellow LED is on continuously – the PowerTool may have locked up. Reset PowerTool with magnet.
PowerTool does not show up in the Bluetooth menu -
If the green LED is not flashing on your PowerTool - Try pulling the tether. If this fails, your battery may be flat. Recharge battery.
If the green LED is flashing on your PowerTool - You may need to reboot your iOS device then repeat the normal pairing process.
If the yellow LED is on continuously – the PowerTool may be connected to another iOS device. Reset PowerTool with magnet.
If the yellow LED is on continuously – the PowerTool may have locked up. Reset PowerTool with magnet.
