1. Open FLEX Stronger App
2. Connect your FLEX device to your phone
3. Load the barbell
4. Attach FLEX to the barbell
5. Place the mat underneath (reflective side facing up)
6. From the Main navigation screen tap the TRAIN or FAVORITES
7. Select the exercise/ workout
You can type the exercise name into the search field. Exercises will appear in order of popularity (to your account)
8. Connect your FLEX device to your phone
9. Set the bar weight by tapping on the 0kg icon in the centre of the screen
10. Select the view to display by swiping right - left; in order it will display
- Velocity m/s
- Power w
- Distance cms (or ")
- Bar path
- Distance graph
11.Tap the lighting bolt at top left of the screen to enable Exercise Assist
12. Lift weights.
13. Once you have re-racked your weights, Exercise Assist will determine if the exercise you performed matches your regular movement pattern for that exercise.
(This will only occur if the exercise is trained (indicated by orange lighting bolt)
14. If you have completed a different exercise to the one that was selected, a prompt will appear to select ACCEPT, IGNORE or LIBRARY:
- ACCEPT changes your exercise to the suggestion provided by Exercise Assist
- IGNORE will keep your current exercise selection and disregard the Exercise Assist suggestion
- LIBRARY will allow the athlete to update the exercise to any exercise in the database
